Ti2000 Springs (Titanium)
for Mazda RX7 93-95
The Ti in Ti2000 is the scientific elemental name for Titanium, and the
2000 is the N/mm tensile strength of the Ti2000. And through this
Titanium composite, the Ti 2000 is capable of weight saving
characteristics of up to 43%. But in addition to the weight saving
characteristics and being able to boast a 2000 N/mm tensile strength,
the Ti2000 lowering springs are also more resistant to corrosion and
are able to carry a lifetime no sag guarantee unlike any other spring
on the market. So not only does the Ti2000 material improve weight, but
it is also a stronger, more responsive, longer lasting performance
suspension spring than anything else on the market.
The creation of these springs is unparalleled, engineered through
state of the art procedures unlike any other spring on the market. As
opposed to normal oil based heat treatments lasting up to 900 seconds,
the Ti2000 treatment is processed through a high frequency heating
hearth for 80 to 160 seconds, and is the only spring applying this new
technique. This new treatment process produces stronger longer lasting
springs than any of the conventional processing methods are even
remotely capable of producing. But the processing stage does not end
there. After the treatment, and winding, the springs are then hot
shot-peened for greater spring strength and finish.
In the final stages for developing the Ti2000, an innovative
protective powder coating and a finishing coat is applied to make this
new age material even more resistant to road and weather conditions
unlike other available springs. Even in normal driving conditions,
suspension components are a prime target to which damage can occur via
rocks, salt, snow, dirt and so forth. Therefore a special under coating
created for the Ti2000 springs also caters to cutting edge, being a
hybrid epoxy polyethylene composite, for greater resistance to fade and
corrosion from these extremities. With advancements made at every step,
the final product is the ultimate in aftermarket performance springs.
